About Davie County Jail 

Davie County Detention Center is a medium facility arranged on eight sections of land in the Mocksville metropolitan area. The facility is located at 135 Green Street, Mocksville, NC 27028, and was built in 1958. Davie County jail has a capacity of 72 beds which accommodates pre-preliminary prisoners. Notwithstanding its jail capacities, Davie County detention center provides reintegration programming to male convicted offenders. The total bookings per month in the facility is approximately 166. In addition, the facility has a total number of 147 staff members who supervise the facility. Annually, Davie County detention center utilizes more than 36 prisoners in its in-office work lines to assist in administrating its clothing and kitchen, among other activities. The facility provides inmates with counseling services. The services counselor provides counseling, housing opportunities, employment opportunities, basic living accommodation, and guidance for a rehabilitation center after completing the sentence.

Civil Division 

The main duty of the Davie County sheriff’s office civil division is to serve civil process, offer fingerprinting services, offer gun permits, and other various permits within the County. In addition, the division works with the court to serve the civil process of files, including summonses, evictions, foreclosures, orders, notices, dissolutions of marriages, and civil and criminal subpoenas. 

Criminal Investigation Division

The division investigates misdemeanor and felony offenses and special investigations when permitted by the sheriff. Patrol Division

The special operation division comprises the Tactical Response Team, K-9 Unit, Drugs and vice, Task Force Unit, and Criminal Analysis and Apprehension Team.

Davie County is located in the U.S state of North Carolina and is part of the Winston-Salem Metropolitan Statistical area. The County was founded in 1836 and named after William R.Davie. Mocksville is the county seat and the largest city in Davie County.
